Marketing Data Analyst Intern
This will be a remote Summer Internship (May August) with flexible hours
Do you like digging into marketing data?
As a summer intern wit this global marketing department, you will assist collect and manage customer contact data by working with the sales and marketing team. You will develop a process for managing the cleanliness of the data and evaluating data trends for contacts engaged in current and those planned for prospective account based marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze the completeness of the customer contact information in SAP, Hubspot, CRM and other data sources
- Identify gaps in the data and work with the sales, project management and service teams to complete customer information
- Analyze data from PowerBI and QlikSense
- Research and obtain customer contact information for prospective customers who are unknown to the sales team
- Develop a process for data management going forward and best practices to keep customer information clean; Input, collaboration and buy-in will be needed by sales, service, sales operations, order fulfillment and marketing teams.
- Present progress on data completion activities to marketing leadership team
Your Background & Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Graduate student pursuing a major in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field
- Strong analytical skills (including Microsoft Excel) and experience with large data sets conducting complex analysis, converting results into actionable business
- Adept at learning new tools and technologies and aggregating data from multiple source
- Organized self-starter, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced global environment.
- Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
