You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:
(1) Assisting in drafting consumer education products to communicate health care program options to customers; (2) Gathering background information related to health care education and outreach activities; and (3) Researching appropriate laws, regulations, or policies in order to respond to routine customer service inquiries - OR - Substitution of Education for
Experience:
You may substitute education for specialized experience at the GS-07 level by possessing one (1) full year of graduate level education or Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) ( if related to the position being filled). SAA is defined as meeting one of the following:
(1) a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher based on a 4.0 scale as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of curriculum; (2) a 3.5 GPA or higher based on a 4.0 scale as computed based on the required courses completed in a major field of study, or the required courses completed in the major field during the final two years of curriculum; (3) class standing of upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision of the college; OR (4) membership in a National Scholastic Honor Society certified by the Association of College Honor Societies, excluding freshman honor societies. You must submit a copy of your transcripts with your application for verification.) In order to be credited, Superior Academic Achievement, must have been gained in a Bachelor's degree related curriculum with a GPA of 3.0 or higher - OR - Combination of Experience and Education:
A combination of the specialized experience as described above, but less than one year; and some graduate level education but less than 1 year as described above. The total percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. (Applicants using a combination of education of experience must compute the percent of education and experience they have completed, and together they must equal 100%. To do this, divide the number of graduate semester hours completed by 18 and this is the percentage of education you have completed; next divide the number of months of specialized experience you have completed by 12, this is the percentage of experience you have completed. Add the two percentages together and they must equal 100% to qualify). (NOTE:

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
