As a Toolmaker Leader, you will:
Independently responsible for determining and organizing his/her work procedures and machining processes, noting and providing for critical dimensions, and applying shop mathematics and handbook formulas to calculate dimensions such as determining center distances, angles, tapers, clearances, pitches, and leads. Apply proven gage, jig, and fixture design principles, and determine the application which is the most effective for operational requirements. Work on the planning of work, incorporating improvements in the method or design where possible; the machining and fitting of all parts; and repairing and maintaining shop tools when required. Direct the work of at least (4) toolmakers and (2) steel die engravers in the HQ Design and Engraving Division and reviews their work for accuracy, completeness and conformity to instructions. You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. You must meet the screen-out element Ability to Lead or Supervise, normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
