Lead Business Analytics Specialist

As a Lead Business Analytics Specialist, you will:
- Be responsible for leading the work of several Business Analytics Analysts in analyzing a wide variety of financial data related to government payments, fraudulent/misdirected payments, payment resolution activities, and payment/post-payment operations & integrity controls. - Perform highly specialized business analysis, business data analytics, identification of essential business data, data tagging, data mining, and specification of functional requirements for establishing analytical processes to incorporate into systematic execution of those analytics in appropriate payment/post payment systems. - Work in collaboration with business users and technology partners to assess and validate solutions to ensure meeting stakeholder objectives. Determine short-term or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinate with other organizations or parts of the organization; and monitor progress and evaluate outcomes. - Lead the team in:
identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization; making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishments of assigned team tasks; and ensuring that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product. Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following:
- Experience identifying trends and anomalies in business data to find the root cause and implement corrective actions; AND - Experience working with stakeholders, both internal and external, to prioritize business and informational needs, define performance metrics and document requirements ; AND - Experience leading a project (i.e. utilizing Agile methodologies and software tools such as JIRA); AND - Experience communicating, orally or in writing, with different levels of management, to identify and present solution proposals with business parameters.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
