Associate Loan Officer

As an Associate Loan Officer in our sales training program, we'll teach you to effectively guide new home purchasers through the loan process, from loan application to loan approval and settlement. Starting as a loan processor during your 12-24 month training, you'll gain exposure to all parts of the mortgage business while learning to pre-qualify prospective buyers, review financing options, and assist in repairing credit challenged purchasers as needed. You also serve as the primary point of contact for home buyers with NVR Mortgage throughout the home buying process. As your training progresses, you'll demonstrate mastery of each segment of the home lending process and your proficiency in customer care.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in the new home sales process by pre-qualifying home buyers based on available financing options.
Successfully negotiate and close contracts, assess needs and demonstrate value through a structured sales approach
Proactively manage the customer experience over a 4-6 month period
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the NVR Homebuilding Sales team to provide service and support the monthly sales goals of each community
Educate sales and marketing team members on industry changes and new product offerings
Qualify and assist borrowers throughout the loan process, resulting in your customer receiving keys to a newly constructed home of their dreams.
Qualifications
Demonstrated aptitude for leadership and problem solving
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to meet National and State licensing requirements
Four-year bachelor's degree preferred
Sales or customer service preferred
Experience in mortgage or banking is a plus
