Field Project Manager
The Opportunity
Based in Bridgeport, NJ, our Field Project Manager is responsible for overseeing water and wastewater, soil remediation and air purification projects. This position will follow project plans while working with our field personnel to ensure Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and that the work is performed on time and within budget.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Manages and oversees small to midsize, technically complex projects;
Prepares proposals, including cost estimates, work scopes and schedules;
Acts as an agent of business and is critical in developing and maintaining relationships with customers and understanding their needs;
Assists in subcontractor selection and procurement;
Supports the financial health of the project by ensuring proper invoicing and project costing;
Enforces Health & Safety policies and procedures;
Additional duties associated with overseeing the life of the project.
Key
Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology or related discipline;
Water and Wastewater, Engineering or Geological accreditation preferred;
Minimum of 3-years industry experience;
Experience with in-situ remediation is an asset;
Strong proficiency in Windows based applications;
Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time.
