RN Clinical Educator - perioperative services

Founded by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in 1940, Nazareth Hospital provides a full array of healthcare services to Northeast Philadelphia, including nationally certified stroke care, heart failure care and joint replacement. We have an opportunity to join our team as an Clinical Educator.
The Educator is responsible for assessing, planning, conducting and evaluating the educational programs for colleagues throughout the hospital, with a focus on the Operating Room and Perioperative Services. The Educator also orients new nursing staff members and evaluates skills and competencies and makes recommendations to managers. May assist with BCLS and additional hospital-wide programs.
The position requires a Registered Nurse with current PA License, professional certification in specialty preferred. A BSN is required, Masters of Science Degree in Nursing preferred or in progress.
Certified BCLS Instructor is required. Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in acute hospital setting, perioperative experience is preferred. Candidate must be self directed, organized and posses leadership qualities, and have proficiency in designing, implementing, teaching & delivering presentations. A prsentation will be required as part of the selection process.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
