Abelson Legal Search
What a terrific opportunity! This NY-based litigation boutique needs a highly skilled, NJ-barred attorney (probably 10
years) to handle a significant number of cases in NJ, primarily in Atlantic County. The firm usually generates about 3000 hours of work in NJ each year, so there is lots of work to be done. The right candidate must be truly self-motivating, as s/he will be working primarily alone, even from home if desired. Weekly or every-other week travel for one day to Westchester County. Candidates must have taken depositions, done jury selections and lots of trial work in the NJ courts. Excellent academic and employment credentials are expected, as others here have come from top 20 law schools and AmLaw 50 firms. NY bar admission would be a plus. If you are over-worked and underpaid, and especially under-appreciated, talk to us about what is offered here. This is a successful and respectful firm. They pride themselves on their relationships with their clients, who range in size from major, national companies to small businesses to individuals. They are offering highly competitive compensation and expect about 2000 billable hours. Anything over 2000 hours merits a meaningful bonus. The opportunity is here to make real money, to build a great career and to enjoy practicing law again. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
