Radiology Workforce Manager

Responsibilities
The Manager of Rad Force in partnership with the Directors and Shared Service Line Vice President to ensure appropriate resource allocation and deployment across the imaging region of staff within the Rad Force Program. This manager supports successful workforce management focused on concepts of forecasting, scheduling, and staffing that contribute to strategic workforce resource direction and successful daily operations of the centralized resource imaging staff. The manager is responsible for facilitating scheduling and staffing processes to operationalize the overall imaging region budget plan, concentrating on improving and adjusting based on continual analysis to ensure the delivery of safe quality care in a cost-effective manner.
Essential Functions
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
Forecasting: collaborates with Directors to shape planning for current and future operational resource requirements by analyzing organizational structure and policies, operational variables, and staffing and scheduling data to identify opportunities for improvement
Scheduling: collaborates to determine a set number and type of staff to be allocated for an anticipated workload and defined future time-period; translates budget and forecast into tactical action for meeting expected patient volumes, service, and care requirements
Staffing: facilitates and guides day-to-day operations that assesses and determines the shift allocation of imaging resources within the xxx Program to ensure adequate staffing on each shift and unit/department
Improving: Actively monitors, analyzes, and evaluates staffing actions to plan real-time, near-time, and retrospective actions; identifies trends and patterns using data/information that inform and refine scheduling and forecast planning
Collaborates with professional partners to ensure scheduling and flow processes that aligns with variable staffing and census needs within the hospital system. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures for departmental operations.
Has direct responsibilities for service area resource team including staff recruitment, hiring and orientation as well as ongoing oversight of licensure, competencies, performs evaluations and staff scheduling.

Conditions of Employment
