Experience understanding scientific and engineering principles of structural, mechanical, electrical/electronic and civil engineering in the application of plant equipment, acquisition, installation, maintenance, and repair and operation. Experience managing resources within cost and schedule budgets. Experience providing engineering services and engineered processes to all divisions. Experience assisting all divisions with engineering services for the identification of requirements and improvement of plant equipment. Experience providing engineering support for detachment work measurement systems including engineered labor standards by developing, preparing, issuing and maintaining standards. Experience determining requirements, developing specifications, initiating funding and procurement, and directing the installation and acceptance testing of plant equipment, machine tools, and test equipment. Experience conducting physical inventories and maintaining account records. Experience assigning work to subordinate personnel, ensuring timely completion and quality of work, resolving conflicts and overlapping functions between support personnel and other organizational entities, and coordinating the work of these personnel in the interest of designed objectives.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:

Successful completion of a professional engineering degreeTo be acceptable, the program must:
