A Brief Overview Performs a variety of duties related to stocking, collecting, delivering of linen in hospital areas and other related tasks following standard linen practices and procedures.
What you will do Arrives prepared to begin working.
Sign in on time sheet- no earlier or later than 5 minutes before or after the beginning of the shift.
Report to manager on duty to receive specifics of the day.
Report to assigned workstation within 10 minutes after the start of the shift.
Follow daily Linen duties and responsibilities.
Maintain your set position of stocking linen or picking up of soiled linen.
Bring in the needed linen items.
Rotate stock of linen.
Fold and organize linens.
All small wears are to be sorted and folded.
Scrub wear folded and sorted.
Weights of all linen are to be recorded.
Record Keeping.
Fill out daily all picking lists.
Check linen delivery tickets.
Adjust picking list.
Practice safe work habits.
Practice safe work habits following established department policies.
Practice proper lifting techniques.
Practice proper handling of equipment.
Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings as required.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Education Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Required Skills and Abilities Basic written and verbal communications skills as well as basic mathematical and problem solving skills.
General knowledge of customer service skills.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
