The partnership between Faulkner Automotive Group and Father Judge High School is dedicated to shaping the future generation of technicians! The Father Judge High School Automotive Technology Specialist will deliver the CTE Academy Automotive Technician Curriculum, encompassing ASE task areas, PA Department of Education requirements, and additional auto service aspects.
The role involves structured instruction in the classroom and automotive lab, including virtual teaching if necessary.
Under the principal's supervision, the Automotive Technology Specialist collaborates with administration to expand the program and meet certification, credential, and licensing needs.
They also liaise with partners to prepare students for the Co-Op program, ensuring their readiness and success.
Automotive Technology Specialist Requirements 3
years of experience as an automotive technology instructor at the high school, post-secondary, or college level.
Master's degree, preferred in Automotive Technology, Industrial Education or Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum OR PDE Vocational Level II certification in automotive technology instruction, preferred OR 6000 hours of verified automotive repair/ technology occupational experience.
PA Safety Inspection and Emissions Certifications.
ASE Master Certifications A-1 - A-8 and G1, A-9, L1 and L2 also preferred.
EPA Section 609 Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certification.
Valid driver's license.
Strong organizational skills, work efficiently, multitasking abilities, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
