Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 6
years of technical experience directly working with Wi-Fi in computer architecture and data communications. Experience with Wireless technology testing which includes Wireless AP s, Routers, Wireless extenders & Wireless standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax) Knowledge of real-world wireless environments. Experience working with TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, Switching. Familiarity with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools like Veriwave, IXIA Chariot and packetdebuggers like Wireshark, Omnipeek and Savius. Preferable knowledge in secondary home networking technologies such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, MoCA, and Ethernet in a DOCSIS environment. Experience of wi-fi extenders. Comfortable in some scripting language of choice Must be able to work independently Excellent Debugging skills & experience troubleshooting Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for analysis, and automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams Network Test Engineer Recommended Skills Address Resolution Protocols Automation Bluetooth Command Line Interfaces Communication Computer Architectures Apply to this job.
