Job Duties:
Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
Collaborate with our data science team to design and develop machine learning models and algorithms.
Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
Create data tools that can provide data scientists with data from our central database.
Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
Create custom software components and analytics applications.
Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
Employ a variety of languages and tools to marry systems together.
Ideal Background:
5
years of experience as a Data Engineer focused on Python, Postgres, and DBTExperience using Google Cloud Platform and ideally Google AI toolsExperience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines with DBTKnowledge of programming languages including Python and SQL.
Experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as PostgreML, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Experience with tools such as Google BigQuery, Airflow, Fivetran, and MakeExcellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, processes, tools and platforms.
Proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights.
