We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Business Analyst with expertise in the group insurance domain to lead and manage projects related to our insurance offerings.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of project management and business analysis skills, coupled with a deep understanding of group insurance products and processes.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and stakeholders, to drive project execution and deliverables.
Business Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements, user needs, and system functionalities to inform project scope and objectives.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
Domain Expertise:
Leverage expertise in the group insurance domain to provide insights and recommendations on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
Serve as a subject matter expert on group insurance products, processes, and systems to support project planning and decision-making.
Stakeholder Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities, and expectations.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, to ensure alignment and transparency.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate system functionality and performance.
Conduct thorough reviews and audits of project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience (X years) as a Project Manager/Business Analyst in the insurance industry, specifically within the group insurance domain.
Strong understanding of group insurance products, processes, regulations, and industry standards.
Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (e.
g.
, Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.
g.
, JIRA, Microsoft Project).
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.
g.
, PMP, CBAP) are a plus.
