We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Food Manufacturing industry.
This role is crucial to our operations, maintaining the smooth running of our production line and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
The successful candidate will work on the second shift, demonstrating their expertise in mechanical maintenance, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, PLC, and predictive and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities:
As a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
1.
Ensuring the optimal functionality of all manufacturing machinery and equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
2.
Utilizing your skills in diagnostics to identify the root cause of mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
3.
Applying your knowledge of electrical troubleshooting to rectify faults in the electrical components of our machinery.
4.
Demonstrating proficiency in PLC to manage and modify automated systems.
5.
Implementing predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maintain the efficiency of our production line.
6.
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
7.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
2.
Proven expertise in mechanical maintenance and diagnostics.
3.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
4.
Experience with PLC and automated systems.
5.
A strong understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance strategies.
6.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7.
The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
8.
A commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
