We are currently seeking Back End Software Engineers who are passionate about leveraging data and emerging technologies.
As a Software Engineer at Capital One, you will have the opportunity to drive a major transformation within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor other engineers.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial well-being.
- Use programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as open-source databases and AWS tools.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply).
Preferred
Qualifications:
- 5
years of experience in Java, Go, or Python.
- 1
years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 3
years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 2
years of experience in Agile practices.
Salary Information:
The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this role vary based on location.
In New York City, the salary range for a Senior Software Engineer is $161,900 - $184,800.
In San Francisco, the range is $171,500 - $195,800.
Salaries for part-time roles will be based on the agreed-upon number of hours worked.
