Key
Responsibilities:

Patient Engagement:
Greet and assist patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Provide information, answer questions, and offer guidance to patients regarding clinic services, appointment scheduling, and other inquiries.

Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the electronic scheduling system.
Coordinate and reschedule appointments as needed, ensuring efficient use of clinic resources.
Send appointment reminders to patients via phone, email, or text message.
3.
Registration and Documentation:
Accurately gather and verify patient information, including personal and insurance details.
Maintain and update patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
4.
Insurance Verification:
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients.
Explain insurance policies, co-pays, deductibles, and any out-of-pocket expenses to patients.
Coordinate with billing and coding staff to resolve insurance-related issues.
5.
Administrative Support:
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and faxes.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is beneficial.
