Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Desktop Support / Deployment Technician to join their team.
The team is in the process of deploying 1500
Surface tablets to their workforce and moving to Windows 10.
This engagement is starts at 6 months contract and can extend longer term.
Task and
Responsibilities:
Deployment of Windows 10 clients Troubleshooting Windows 10 OS issues Troubleshooting application issues on Windows 10 clients Installing applications on Windows 10 clients Configuring and managing Windows 10 clients Communicating with end-users Keeping service desk tickets for current assignments updated Requirements Technical knowledge of Windows 10 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting - 3
years Experience installing applications on Windows 10 clients - 3
years.
Knowledge of and experience with troubleshooting OS and application issues on Windows 10 clients - 3
years Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and other common Windows applications - preferred.
Experience working in an Enterprise environment - preferred.
Strong verbal and written communications skills 100% onsite role in the Philadelphia area.
Regular overtime and weekend work is required.
Comfortable using client transportation network to visit remote locations.
Strong Team player and able to follow instructions.
