The Northeast Series (region) for Lockton includes offices in the metro areas spanning Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, Hartford, Boston and our newest office in Portland, ME.

Position Overview:
The Benefits Analyst is the primary service contact for an assigned Employee Benefits book of business and is responsible for developing a strong working relationship with clients, carriers and Lockton team members.
It is designed for a recent college graduate or experienced professional with 1 - 2 years of relevant insurance experience.
The Analyst will be part of our Career Foundations Program, which is designed to provide the technical and practical training needed to develop the Benefits Analyst as they look forward to a successful and long-term career in the Lockton Northeast Series.
The Analyst is responsible for day-to-day Client service and renewal support to Account Executives, Sr.
Account Managers, and/or Account Managers.
A high performing and successful Analyst will provide great customer service and support to the broader client team.
Core Duties:
Provides key administrative support involving client written and verbal communications, client filing, and client data management.
Provides data analysis and financial analysis support to client team.
Performs benefit benchmarking that helps team to evaluate client benefit programs.
Prepares renewal and marketing reports, RFPs, presentations and correspondence.
Engages other specialized Lockton practice areas for projects such as Marketing and Communications and Compliance, as directed.
Coordinates meeting schedules and prepares meeting minutes.
Provides key support involving vendor and client correspondence.
Resolves standard industry issues such as claims resolutions, billing discrepancies, eligibility issues and web technology.
Reviews and edits agreements and documents such as employee booklets and carrier contracts.
Develops a basic understanding of our clients' business.
Meets regularly with team members to collect desired tasks and deadlines and provides team members with regular and consistent status updates as to current projects and deadlines.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related program preferred or equivalent education and/or experience required Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Highly proficient in the Microsoft product suite Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft.
Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine.
Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
Legally able to work in the United States.
Recommended Skills Administration Billing Claim Processing Computer Keyboards Courtesy Customer Service Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
