Cost Analyst

Position Overview The purpose of this position is to fulfill two core needs:
Lead cost administrative functions (cost deviation loading, reported sale rebates and reconciliation) while providing project-based cost analyst efforts on key projects and Category/Sales inquiries.
This role requires strong project management, analytical and financial acumen.
This position will interact with Envoy Category, Envoy Cost Administration, PJP Procurement and PJP Sales teams.
The role will be measured on successful execution of Cost Admin and deliverables on project-based work that consists of cost analysis, cost deviation negotiation, item cross-referencing and other miscellaneous needs within the cost and category realms for PJP.
This position ultimately will evolve to be Envoy-wide with similar roles and responsibilities but a scope beyond PJP specifically.
Responsibilities Include:

% Time SpentJob Responsibilities50%Lead Cost Administration duties including the loading of contract cost deviations by contract/supplier, Linking of contracts to Customers, Weekly/Monthly reported sale rebate processing and Reconciliation of Rebates w/ Supplier Responses.
This role will also liaison with Finance on open receivables and overall financial status of Reported Sale Rebates.
30%Lead cost analysis from sales inquiries including item cross-reference, requests to suppliers for deviations, development of cost analysis tools and deliverables to key sales leadership or category stakeholders on cost findings.

1-2 years of specific product line knowledge including (market, commercial distribution, suppliers).
3-5 years of cost management and cost analysis Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel with the ability to leverage databases.
Superior verbal communication skills, proficient in written communication.
Strong analytical skills; superior business judgment and decision-making competencies.
Education needed to perform this job:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
