Responsibilities:
Review, tracking, approval and administration of Job Safety Analyses and other pre-task safety plans.
Administration of client specific hazardous work permit processes and logs.
Administration of client Contractor Safety orientation process.
Review and approval of Daily Task Hazard Analysis Collection and maintenance of contractor safety training documentation.
Completion of construction site safety and health audits.
Research and interpretation of applicable safety related standards, guidelines and client procedures.
Working with contractors and project teams to maintain best-in-class level of site safety performance.
Collection, management and reporting of leading and lagging safety metrics.
Maintenance of project specific JSA and safety look-ahead logs.
Attend weekly project review and coordination meetings.
Review safety programs developed by the Contractor and, if necessary, provide recommendations for improvement.
Availability to work weekends.
Physical capacity to stand/ walk long periods of time up to 8 hrs, climb ladders and scaffolds, enter/ exit site work and excavation areas, lift up to 50LBS occasionally.
Conduct daily and weekly site safety inspection reports.
Requirements:
Completion of drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion training.
CPR/AED and First Aid Certification Required Certification must be acquired through an accredited and nationally recognized provider.
The certification must include AED certification.
5 or more years of Construction Safety experience.
Hold at least an OSHA Construction 30 Hour card that has been updated in the last 3 years for projects in the United States or a recognized safety certification for other regions.
Knowledge of fall protection requirements (Competent Person, or equivalent, designation preferred).
Competent Person designation, or equivalent, in applicable trade preferred.
Safety Degree preferred.
