IRB Analyst II

The IRB Analyst II is responsible for supporting the overall administration of the human research protection program.
Provides high-level support and guidance to investigators and other stakeholders, and the streamlining IRB processes.
Through these activities, the IRB Analyst II helps ensure that human subjects research activities are in compliance with institutional SOPs and international, federal, state, and local rules and regulations, and the ethical principles regarding the use of human subjects in research to protect the safety, rights, and welfare of participants.
The IRB Analyst II is part of a regulatory team which supports and evaluates the functions and activities of the Institutional Review Board.
Conducts independent reviews of research submissions applying the criteria for IRB approval.
The IRB Analyst II supports the management of daily operations of the IRB office as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
