A Brief OverviewThe Anesthesia Resource Center (ARC) APPs complete comprehensive pre procedure evaluations for patients requiring anesthesia at the Main Campus and King of Prussia Hospital.
Patients originate from home, ED or any IP unit.
Roles include face to face clinic visits for the most complex patients, phone assessments for less complex or subsequent visits, day of procedure update of the H&P to address any last-minute clinical concerns and In Patient Consult for same day or next day add on patients.
The ARC also has APPs in consult roles for all scheduling services and Ambulatory Surgical Centers.

edu/centers-programs/center-advanced-practice />In collaboration with an attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a population of patients that matches his/her delineation of privileges and skill set.
The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research.
What you will do Utilizes advanced assessment skills to manage a cohort of patients.
Performs and documents daily assessments.
Collects and analyzes data and formulates a family-centered plan of care.
Performs any needed advanced procedures that are listed in the Scope of Practice Document and approved as a part of the credentialing process.
Evaluates and monitors the effectiveness of the prescribed treatment plan.
Using the most current evidence, modifies the plan of care based on the effectiveness of the treatment and the patient/family response to the plan.
Serves as an educational resource to the patient/family, nursing staff, and provider team.
Acts as a consultant to multidisciplinary health care team members.
Participates in scholarly activities including research and education.
Participates in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate educational offerings.
Participates in the professional development of others.
Acts as a preceptor and mentor to support the development of nurses, nurse practitioners, students, and other health care providers.
Demonstrates a commitment to patient safety by speaking up about safety issues and changing practice to enhance safety.
Shares errors or potential errors through system reporting mechanisms.
Demonstrates shared accountability for safe practice.
Education Qualifications Master's Degree Nursing Required Doctorate Nursing Preferred Skills and Abilities Ability to work in an inter-professional team setting with multiple responsibilities.
Ability to use computer and electronic medical records effectively.

Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required or Registered Nurse (New Jersey) - New Jersey State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) (New Jersey) - New Jersey State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required and Prescriptive Authority (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - within 3 months - Required or Prescriptive Authority (New Jersey) - New Jersey State Licensing Board - within 3 months - Required and Specialty Certification - as a Nurse Practitioner in area of education/subspecialty.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
