Job Description Customized Energy Solutions is looking for a Senior Analyst to provide support on its Renewable Energy team, performing a variety of analytical and operational functions, including renewable position tracking and data management.
The position will focus on the management of Client positions, renewable energy credits (REC), and REC regulatory and compliance processes.
The successful candidate will be a high energy self-starter, a positive proactive team player, highly proficient in Excel and data analysis, and possess excellent communication skills and initiative.
The position will require direct interaction with Clients and regulatory authorities.
A background in state Renewable Portfolio Standard obligations and/or Renewable Energy Credit markets is required.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Being detail oriented and a person of integrity are essential qualities, as is an ability to handle new tasks and manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Representative Duties Track Renewable Energy Credit (REC) markets and Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) regulatory changes.
Analyze and manage complex data sets.
Manage ongoing renewable and retail energy compliance portfolios.
Manage ongoing renewable generation REC portfolios.
Manage, track, and execute the administration of RECs for clients in various regional generation information tracking systems.
Support the process to prepare and submit state renewable generation registrations.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, counterparties, and regulatory authorities.
Establish and maintain data and information tracking systems using CES' proprietary platform.
Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
Qualifications Relevant undergraduate degree required (finance/economics/engineering).
Advanced degree a plus.

years relevant work experience.
Energy industry background required with experience in RPS obligations and REC markets, particularly PJM and ISO-NE.
Excellent analytic processing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in a deadline-driven, self-managed environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to think outside the box by developing and implementing improvements to processes and tools.
