Certifications PMP Certification is required.
ITIL certification is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Description:
5 or more years of experience performing IT Program Management for Government projects.
Experience with managing and delivering user and network services, including:
Providing all user support in accordance with negotiated service level agreements (SLA) with Business Units.
Providing strategic planning, direction, and oversight while coordinating business needs and technology roadmap.
Compliance with government security regulations.
Ensuring IT operational issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
Establishing and enforcing hardware and software standards.
Managing Tier 3 level support including architecture, design, and engineering of network infrastructure.
Providing IT Service Desk to report all IT issues enterprise wide.
Treasury/IRS Experience is highly desired (preferably IRS).
Demonstrated leader and manager, with an assertive but tactful approach to optimizing personnel and team productivity; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be a team leader; Ability to work independently and also be a strong team player; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience writing briefings and presentations; Notable ability to work under pressure with strict timelines; Strong ability to develop others through goals, plans, and coaching; Strong customer service skills.
Require Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
Duties:
Responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of the BPA, including hosting, coordinating and participating in all BPA Level meetings with IRS.
Has full authority to act on behalf of the Contractor on all award matters relating to daily operations.
Responsible for effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities surrounding clients multi-level technology projects.
Use their knowledge of and experience with various technologies to lead a team to reach all clients goals.
Responsible for assisting client in development, selection, implementation, and budgeting for their technology initiatives to improve effectiveness and evaluate new equipment.
At times, also responsible for completion of administrative tasks such as the compiling of reports that detail program activity to supply client with status and progress of projects.
Responsible for overall delivery of program services, including:
(1) Supplying and maintaining all deskside (including phone) technology (2) Providing workstation software standardization and security management (3) Inventorying data-processing equipment (4) Conducting annual certification of assets (5) Providing IT Service Desk as single point of contact for reporting IT issues (6) Providing services for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
