Role
Responsibilities:
? Human resources (HR) intern provides valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities in the organization.
They maintain the accuracy of employee files, organize and screen CVs and resumes, manage job ads, and assist in the implementation of company policies.
In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Employee Experience.
You will input updates on the departments internal HR database and help monitor employee data.
You will also assist in the overall recruitment process, from interview setup to paperwork associated with the onboarding of new employees.
Success in this role will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality and timely HR assistance under minimal supervision, helping the HR department meet daily objectives.
Intern
Responsibilities:

Assist with recruitment and selection activities, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and coordinating training sessions.

Provide support to employee relations activities, including maintaining employee files, drafting employee communications, and coordinating employee recognition programs.

Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, learning and development.

Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, as well as federal and state employment laws.

Prepare HR-related reports as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Understand and learn the fundamentals of human resources.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Our paid intern program runs three times per year for nine weeks each.
Candidates should be prepared to work in person 15-20 hours a week, preferably on a consistent schedule.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
