Learn more Senior Product Manager - Connected Research is a hands-on, functional leader and mentor within the Connected Research Product's Team.
In this role you will work closely with internal stakeholders and ZS Digital & Connected Health's cross functional teams (Engineering, User Experience, Product, Regulatory, Legal) across the lifecycle of digital health initiatives.
You will use your product management expertise to guide Product Strategy and Product Management activities with internal project teams and client stakeholders.
You will lead the product vision of digital product innovation, help execute that vision through outcome-driven roadmap prioritization, and support solution commercialization efforts in the U.
S.
and other international markets.
In addition, this is a leadership role contributing to building the Product Management function within our 'Connected Health Platform' sub-space across these dimensions:
mentoring and growing people, continuous improvement of our Product Management methods and tool kit, client thought leadership, client business development (proposals, RFPs), etc.
We are looking for candidates that are passionate about Digital Health and Product Management and will be key players across all phases of Digital Health Strategy and Delivery.
Responsibilities:
Apply product management principles and best practices to ensuring we build the right thing on behalf of our clients and their patients Understand market strategic objectives and facilitate product discovery and innovation workshops Based upon deep understanding of product business goals, align and articulate a product's vision, goals, success metrics/criteria, value proposition, key users, and user scenarios Create and maintain product/solution roadmaps with clear Initiatives, milestones and epics based on the why and what.
Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprised of product management, user experience, technology, testers, and other subject matter experts to gather and analyze information needs and functionality requirements, dependencies and impacts, and to facilitate user story development Deliver collaboration artifacts as needed by the team (this may include detailed requirements, data flow diagrams, business logic matrixes, release notes, presentations, etc) Understand and follow design control processes in the product definition and build cycle, including meeting regulatory requirements as needed Regularly conduct market research and maintain solid awareness of the competitive landscape for the solution(s) you're working on Desired Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree.
Masters Degree highly desired or equivalent experience 8
years of experience in product management or similar functions Experience leading workshop style meetings to identify and chart a product's vision and requirements Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment Experience working in a client facing, consulting environment High energy level, with strong facilitation, verbal/written communication skills Understanding of trends and governing dynamics in healthcare - regulation, innovation, stakeholders, economics, etc.
Knowledge of Lean Startup concepts and techniques Knowledge of Software as a Medical Device and/or medical device regulations Ability to travel as needed Day to Day Expectations:
Manage tech debt prioritization to steer cross-functional team activities Plan 1-2 sprints in advance for optimizing bandwidth and hit sprint metrics Coordinate on product roadmap with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across workstreams and sub-space portfolio Creating, writing, and updating software development tickets with use cases, user needs, acceptance criteria, and detailed understanding of the proposed solution Lead feature set exploration with detailed goals and objectives that can be traced back to roadmap activities Perks &
