Information Systems Mgr

Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Comments Understands the organizational structure of TJUH, and its relationship to TJU and JHS.
Understands the mission of TJUH.
Essential Functions Comments Performs and oversees tasks for the development and/or implementation, maintenance, and improvement of systems including the creating specifications, project plans, test plans and documentation.
Manages projects to successful completion while promoting teamwork.
Evaluates and oversees allocation of resources in response to client requests in conjunction with departmental and organizational priorities.
Works in partnership with clients to assess their tactical and strategic business needs; advises clients on information technology options, costs and benefits to support their business objectives.
Manages administrative activities for their respective area of responsibility; including but not limited to budget recommendations, staff training, status reporting, and performance appraisals.
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Qualifications Educational / Training Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred Bachelors Computer Science Additional Training Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements Minimum three to five years supervisory or leadership and five to ten year's information systems or healthcare industry experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
