The Coding and OASIS Specialist ensures accuracy of patient data submitted to develop a patient's comprehensive Plan of Care.
This position is responsible for analyzing data integrity and consistency of OASIS documentation.
This position will ensure appropriate ICD-10 coding and sequencing and OASIS accuracy.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Must have good verbal and written communication skills and evaluation techniques and demonstrate knowledge of clinical skills, judgment, current professional practices and analytical capabilities Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs Detailed oriented and able to work independently to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to motivate and educate others Possess excellent customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft office and other computer applications preferred Ability to work flexible hours HCS-D and COS-C certifications preferred.
Otherwise, must demonstrate proficiency with the OASIS review and ICD-10 coding within 6 months and must obtain required certifications according to Agency requirements.
LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Current RN state license Three to five years home care experience Recommended Skills Adaptability Analytical Attention To Detail Clinical Works Communication Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
