The Role As a Health Actuary Associate Director on the Health & Benefits team, you will work as part of a team on a wide variety of complex projects spanning product development, financial and risk management, financial modelling, and mergers and acquisitions for provider, health insurer, reinsurer, employer, and captive clients. You will serve as the project manager and day to day communication liaison with our clients, create client deliverables, contribute to client management and new business activities, and participate in the creation of new intellectual capital. Financial Meet revenue and billable hour goals established with your manager Support the generation of new business by enhancing relationships with current clients Participate in prospecting opportunities with new clients as part of a broader team Directly contribute to clients' success through applying your technical expertise Clients Deliver superior, consistent client management and deliverables in support of a Client Lead for assigned clients:
Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams Oversee the day to day project tasks, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables and quality standards Serve as primary, daily contact to clients on delivery of services Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Client Leads and Client Relationship Managers Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client's broader business issues Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects Excellence Provide valued-added consulting expertise on complex projects including contract reviews, financial modeling of contracts terms, fee schedule development, performance benchmarking, network analysis and pricing Contribute to the development of new tools, software and approaches which help our clients improve business performance Key areas of focus will include pricing and financial modeling tools and software for provider risk-taking clients People Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels Serve as mentor to other colleagues The Requirements 8
years of experience and success in pricing, analytics or financial management gained in a consulting, insurer, or reinsurer environment Knowledge of predictive modeling Proven experience successfully managing teams and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget Demonstrated success in managing client issues and relationships; Strong interpersonal and team skills Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills Experience training/mentoring junior staff Advanced knowledge of Excel with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word Availability to travel on an as needed basis The following attributes are preferred for an ideal candidate:
ASA or FSA actuarial credential SAS and/or SQL programming Experience with claims-based analytics strongly desired Experience with provider risk contracts and ACO development Remote work available Compensation The salary compensation range being offered for this role is $120K-$170K This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus. $100K -- $150K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
