The Deskside Technician II is responsible for defining the technological growth and direction of the desktop environment while ensuring continued stability and standard desktop configurations whenever possible
The incumbent will serve as a specialist for the Desktop Computing Environment and will be the primary escalation point for basic and moderately complex computing problems as well as be accountable for identifying and resolving root causes
This position requires the incumbent to work on-site in Philadelphia, PA
Job
Responsibilities:
Research, evaluate and recommend new desktop technology solutions and identify failing service levels and help develop processes to remediate the underlying root-causes
Use monitoring processes and tools to ensure proper operation of the Desktop computing environment
Work with the Problem Resolution teams to develop workarounds and communicates to the Incident Management team as well as ensure adherence with prioritization standards
Evaluate impact and urgency, to ensure focus on the highest priority problems and changes
Serve as primary escalation point for basic and moderately complex Desktop Computing Problems, accountable for identifying and resolving root-cause
Work with the Desktop Support Engineers and other IT areas to resolve basic and moderately complex enterprise problems impacting desktop performance
Provide day to day technical and remote desktop support to users via phone, email, and remote connection
Receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve basic and moderately complex challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system
Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents
Effectively determine priorities and meet SLA's
Develop and maintain documentation such as training materials and standard operating procedures
Ability to work a flexible schedule to support after hours deployments, patches and upgrades Participate on technology projects as needed
Ability to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint in the Greater Philadelphia region
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing hands-on desk side technical support for Information Technology
Intermediate level understanding of how to build and repair PCs and hardware (OEM knowledge, RAM, CPU and Hard drives) PXE S CCM imaging, IP phone and hardware installation
LAN Cabling and Patch panel tracing
Ability to multi-task, effectively determine priorities and meet SLA's
Demonstrated understanding of application installation and removal and ability to diagnose application errors
Demonstrated knowledge regarding - Active Directory, Office 365, MS Exchange and user account set up
Demonstrated knowledge of desktops, laptops and Windows 10 operating system
Demonstrated knowledge of supporting mobile devices utilizing iOS, iPadOS and Android operating systems
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office functionality, able to provide support to users in different Office applications:
Excel, PowerPoint, Word
CompTIAA A
Certification
Demonstrated experience with ticketing systems
Understanding of security practices including physical, internet, and wireless security
Demonstrated understanding of user authentication, permissions and multifactor authentication
Basic networking understanding of VPN, LAN, WAN, and wireless
Clear understanding of iCloud infrastructure
Entry Level bat and PS scripting capabilities
Entry level SCCM deployment/reporting
Ability to travel to offices and branches within the WSFS Bank footprint in the Greater Philadelphia region
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to work a flexible schedule to support after hours deployments, patches and upgrades

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
