In collaboration with colleagues in Human Resources and across the business, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead is responsible for the planning, management, delivery, and communication of the Spark Therapeutics DE&I strategy.
This role will be responsible for documenting and operationalizing the DE&I service model, guidelines/processes and performing a wide variety of strategy, research, analytical, project management and coordination duties in support of the DE&I function.
This role will be responsible for building and maintaining a vast network within the organization inclusive of employees at all levels and all locations including remote and field employees.
This role will serve as a central point of contact leading the launch plans for key DE&I engagement resources and opportunities such as the employee resource group program, external speaker series and external accolade and partnership strategies.
This role will also own various logistical and operational tasks including vendor management related to events, presentations, and execution of the enterprise-wide DE&I strategy.


Responsibilities:

25%

Lead the delivery, and in partnership with the Head of DE&I, the evolution of the organizational DE&I strategy inclusive of the policies, programs and initiatives that support the DE&I strategic framework aligned with Spark s business strategies and goals.
This includes detailed leadership engagement plans that ensure frequent and robust visibility, touchpoints, and resources for key stakeholder groups.

Lead efforts to partner with the HR Leadership Team and their direct reports to embed DE&I principles and practices into enterprise talent management strategies, including but not limited to talent acquisition, engagement, performance management, people analytics, learning and development, employee relations and succession planning.

Act as the central point of contact for leadership and governance for the DE&I Council, and forthcoming employee resource groups monitoring deliverables, developing and aligning efforts/programming as well as continually working to refine overall structure, goals, and operations.

Partner with the HR/DE&I Comms lead to create and support communications of various programs and initiatives within the DE&I strategy at an enterprise level.
This includes being the content owner of DE&I Intranet space, DE&I related newsletters/events, and content/presentation creation for corporate and functional meetings.

Develop and leverage HR analytics to develop an organizational and functional DE&I talent scorecard and read-out process that analyzes the representation and movement of various talent segments (women, underrepresented minorities, individuals with disabilities etc.
) throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle.

Own ongoing research and benchmarking.
Partner with the Head of DE&I to develop key functional messaging, materials, and data to ensure the function is leveraging the most current as well as emerging best practices, research, approaches, and trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor s degree (Business, Communication, Public Policy, Public Administration, Liberal Arts, Human Resources, IO Psychology); Advanced degree preferred
  • Generally, 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong emphasis on leading, creating and implementing DE&I programs and solutions like ERGs, DE&I Learning, DE&I Leadership Development, DE&I metrics and accountability efforts - across mid-size to small sized organizations.
  • Proven success in a small, rapidly growing organization preferred with responsibility for creating solutions and processes where none had existed previously.
  • High levels of resourcefulness, influence, organizational savvy, and execution skills are critical to the success of this individual.

  • Ability to create, maintain and leverage an internal and external network, and professionally represent Spark within community and industry settings
  • Sensitivity to all dimensions of diversity and identity (inherent- ex.
    age, race/ethnicity, gender and acquired background, education, style)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication talents.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations that convey key concepts and outline recommendations to all levels of management.
    Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to remain solutions oriented in the face of obstacles and difficulty
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and goals in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Pharma/Life Sciences experience or the ability to quickly learn and leverage a unique mission,
  • A keen understanding of interdependencies, connections and unintended consequences of DE&I related decisions and approaches
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, growing, highly collaborative environment
  • Strong Microsoft skills particularly with Excel and Power Point and Teams

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
