Position
Summary:

The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will provide strategic support and leadership to ensure the expansion and integration of the global diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) strategy. This role, under the guidance and direction of the Compliance Director and VP Human Resources, will be responsible for ensuring that the DE&I strategy is achieved through effective implementation and execution of key initiatives across a global software company with over 4,000 colleagues in over 40 countries. The role will partner and consult with all functional areas of the company to develop and execute on an integrated DE&I strategy across the colleague lifecycle and touching external outreach and initiatives.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Help lead the development, implementation, and assessment of DE&I strategies and IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Alliance) program to continuously improve engagement among our candidates and colleagues.
  • Bring thought leadership strategic perspective to fostering inclusion and increasing diversity across our global team.
  • Partner with Department Heads to provide DE&I expertise into their management and strategies and create a connected culture of DE&I.
  • Partner closely with Learning and Development, HR Business Partners, and Compliance to bring and integrate DE&I and bias mitigation into learning and colleague development programs.
  • Develop, maintain, and assess DE&I metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and the impact of specific strategies and initiatives.
  • Drive projects and events that contribute to our DE&I mission and values.
  • Engage senior leaders in DE&I programs and keep them informed of updates and changes in consistent and engaging ways.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to continue developing strategies to attract diverse candidates including populations.
  • Participate in the colleague engagement survey task force; along with action planning; goal setting and award management.
  • Drive a listening culture and build feedback mechanisms into colleague engagement activities and internal communications to enable colleagues to have an opportunity for dialogue.
  • Provides both high and detailed level of program management on schedules and budget and reporting to department leaders. Also establishes and builds sustained internal and external partnerships that move the inclusion and diversity programs forward.
  • Manage and report on the DE&I data and analysis, which includes metrics, reports and presentations to the HR leadership team and business partners.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4-Year University degree required.
  • 4
    years professional experience in global diversity & inclusion, human resources, or a related business area where a significant component of the role involved implementing inclusion programs and initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication/influencing skills, planning/project management skills and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skill set in developing and executing strategies, partnerships, with internal and external partners, stakeholders and constituents around diversity attracting, recruiting, and hiring.
  • Advanced relationship management experience and consulting skills. Ability to lead, engage and build consensus across various levels of leaders in a matrixed organization through collaboration and influence.
  • Experience with budget and vendor management.
  • Preferred D&I certification and/or D&I training.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
