We are seeking a driven, passionate, and experienced Permanent Regional Sales Manager for our Northeast region in the Food industry. This role is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual with a background in the food service marketplace, specifically commercial bakery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in territory management, B2B sales, account management, and events. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives within the region, maintaining a robust CRM, and ensuring adherence to food safety and handling practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals in Philadelphia, NYC and Boston areas.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Maintain awareness of food safety and handling practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5
    years of experience in the food service marketplace, commercial bakery experience a plus.
  • Proven track record in Prospecting, Territory Management, Territory Sales, B2B Sales, Account Management, and Event planning.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Proficiency in CRM maintenance and management.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
  • Awareness of food safety and handling practices.
