Piper Companiesis currently looking for anAnimal Care Technician to work with a leading academic institution located in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities for the Animal Care Technicianinclude:
Perform daily Animal husbandry duties such as health check, cage changing, and waste disposal Performing high-volume cage cleaning, equipment sanitation, equipment and supply autoclaving, water pouch production, stocking supplies, and performing general facility sanitation duties Maintain the functioning of facility equipment through the performance of routine preventative maintenance Maintain logs and research documentation in accordance with company standards Qualifications for the Animal Care Technicianinclude:
Experience with biomedical research w/ rodents Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency working with cage wash equipment and operations - preferred Prior experience working with industrial equipment such as autoclaves, tunnel washers, and rack washers - preferred Vet Tech - preferred HS Diploma or BS in biology related field required Compensation for the Animal Care Technicianinclude:
Contract to hire $22.
