Paralegal - Litigation/Insurance Recovery

Offit Kurman, a growing full-service firm, is seeking to hire a litigation/insurance recovery paralegal for its Philadelphia office.
Ideal candidates will possess 2-4 or more years of experience working as a litigation paralegal.
The paralegal will assist during all phases of the litigation process, from investigating claims, initiation of a case, discovery, through trial.
Job
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and organize the intake of discovery-related requests and documents.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and databases.
Prepare and draft a variety of discovery-related documents.
Maintain detailed and well-organized discovery docket.
Interact with clients and outside counsel.
Review and summarize documents and transcripts.
Key
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting litigation practice.
Excellent organizational skills and prior experience maintaining detailed dockets and databases.
Experience performing independent research and working with various research tools.
Ability to expertly manage and prioritize a high volume of deadline driven work.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
