Custodial Maintenance
DEPARTMENT:Maintenance
JOB TITLE:MaintenanceCustodial
REPORTS TO:Department Manager
FLSA Status:Non-Exempt
SCOPE:Employees are engaged in the cleaning and maintaining of facilities such as factory, offices, lavatories, and Hazmat building.
DUTIES:
Clean all lunch room and bathrooms as required.
Empty trash cans and dumpsters as required. (sort out material as required)
Stock all 6S depots daily.
Disposal/recycling of various waste materials.
Cleanup leaks and spills.
Deliver paint and chemicals to operations.
Maintain Hazmat building (putting away deliveries of chemicals, paint, and gasoline, prepares waste for offsite shipment).
Maintain oil/water separator.
Maintain storm water pollution prevention equipment (required by permit).
Fire extinguisher inspection and replacement.
Eyewash/Shower cleaning and inspection.
Maintain parking lot areas as required per the storm water permit.
Snow removal
Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:this job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an employee must have the following training.
Material handling training
Personal Protective Equipment
Hazard Communication training
NJDEP/USEPA spill cleanup training
RCRA hazardous materials training
DOT hazardous materials training
40 hour Haz Material training
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
