Responsibilities:
Based in Philadelphia, the Marketing Communications Manager - Health position reports into the Director, Business Communications and has primary marketing communications responsibility for the FMC Health business and secondary responsibility to support across Health and Nutrition communications initiatives. The position requires a well-rounded and experienced professional with proven abilities to create and execute multi-faceted marketing and communications strategies for multiple audiences and to deliver creative, measurable and impactful solutions that directly tie to business objectives.
Integrated Marketing Communications/Branding:
Develop and refine the FMC Health integrated marketing communications strategy and brand positioning plans to ensure communications to customers, distributors and other key constituents are clear, impactful, and consistent/aligned where appropriate
Increase the Health businesses visibility and relevance in key global markets through the creation and execution of traditional and non-traditional communication vehicles and channels, including research, public relations and thought leadership, advertising (both on-line and off-line), e-marketing, trade shows, collateral, sales support efforts, videos, social media, etc.
Drive the Health Brand Strategy process including creating positioning and messaging, brand architecture, visual identity and product naming protocol
Trade Shows/Exhibitions:
Executive production of key industry trade shows by creating a clearly defined trade show strategy that includes pre, during and post trade show activities and measurement (brand, messaging, design, editorial opportunities, metrics)
Literature/Key Messaging:
Partner with marketing, sales, technical and application teams to develop compelling content for new product launch and lead generation campaigns including messaging development and implementation through strategic communication tactics that align with business objectives
Direct and manage the creation of sales and marketing collateral (brochures, application bulletins, sell sheets, presentations)
Issues and Crisis Management:
Create crisis and issues management strategies and action plans based on issues identification and prioritization including public relations outreach, thought leadership, third party stakeholder partnership and key messaging development for the science, customer and consumer audiences
Digital/Web/Social Media Strategy:
Lead the creation and development of a customer-centric website including content audit, copy creation and optimization, SEO strategy (paid and organic), design and measurement
Utilize the website and web-based technologies to effectively market to customers and other stakeholders. Leverages web analytics, SEO and online outlets to maximize lead generation and brand awareness
Champion of social media tools and technologies, with a track record of creating and implementing successful social media programs. Keep up-to-date with constantly evolving technologies in online social networking, the blogosphere, search tools and Web 2.0, and work closely with clients to create innovative, effective campaigns
Assess social media marketing strategies to determine return on investment.
Administrative and Metrics:
Manage and collaborate with outside agencies and vendors (advertising, communications and digital agencies, public relations firms, fulfillment houses, photographers, videographers, exhibit houses)
Develop and oversee Health global marketing communications budget
Create marketing communication strategies and programs that are robust, impactful, creative, results-oriented and measurable
Develop and enhance communications-related performance metrics to measure effectiveness, progress and business impact
Employee and Leadership Communications:
Ensure business leaders are prepared and properly trained for media opportunities, speaking engagements and related public events by creating clear and targeted on-point key messaging and training managers to answer questions through established media relations techniques such as transitioning and bridging
Manage internal resources via two way communication and working effectively with Marketing and Sales management, field sales, technical service and R&D
Working with the Nutrition Marketing Communications Manager, develop, manage and execute a Health and Nutrition employee communications plan
Enterprise Communications:
Collaborate with Corporate Communications on enterprise-wide programs and initiatives
Provide occasional support to Investor Relations and other corporate functions
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, advertising or a related discipline is required
Successful candidate should have at least 10 12 years of functional experience in marketing communications, business or brand communications or related field
Development and execution of business-to-business marketing communication strategies, plans, messaging, etc. is required
Working knowledge of new media and web/digital based technologies
Strong writing and editing skills are a must (promotional copy, web and email content, press materials, webcasts, strategic targeted messaging, etc.)
Can think strategically but has a roll up your sleeves attitude to execute
Experience working in a matrixed, large global organization a strong plus.
Experience working with (or in) regions outside of the United States is highly preferred
Tenacious and persuasive, but tactful.
High level of teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ability to set and meet strict deadlines and budgets is critical
Extremely well organized with a high bias for action
Willingness to experiment, deal with uncertainty, doggedness, determination, strong listener.
Qualifications:
An advanced degree (MBA or masters degree in related field) is desirable.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
