Our client, a well-known service provider in Philadelphia, is seeking a Corporate Director of Human Resources to manage the day-to-day operations and administration of the human resources department. The Corporate Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures and updating the employee handbook accordingly, managing HR systems, conducting new employee training, managing employee relations, and other projects as assigned. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in human resources and a minimum of five years of related experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations; update employee handbook as needed
Manage HR operations and administration
New-hire training and onboarding
Corporate recruitment
Manage HR systems and provide system training as needed
Provide guidance and support regarding HR-related issues
Employee relations
Travel 50% or more of the time
Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related filed, or equivalent experience
5
years of experience in generalist HR management with at least 2 years in a management position
PHR/SPHR preferred
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in all HR processes and working knowledge of employment-related federal and state laws
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence others to promote and execute projects
Great people skills, ability to talk to and relate well with all employees
Excellent judgment and consulting skills
Ability to resolve conflicts
Self-starter with ability to prioritize
Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of adult learning processes; strong training and needs assessment abilities
Detail-orientedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
