The Manager will be a key member of a team dedicated to maximizing and creating value from CPC's Capabilities, Customers, Markets and Relationships while reporting directly to the VP Business Development. The candidate will support the Business Development Group in creating, implementing and managing programs, along with the supporting analytics, that identify opportunities from our existing portfolio as well as opportunities outside of our present capabilities. The individual will work closely with the Pricing Director, Category Manager and other members of the team assisting in developing strategies and tactics that drive sales and profitability. To effectively deploy ,monitor and scorecard the success of these strategies/tactics, a close working relationship with the Sales team along with the ability to engage all departments within the organization will be integral to their and ultimately the departments success. To be considered for this position, the applicant must be engaging and outgoing with a can do attitude.
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for driving the internal processes of the Business Development Department.
o Support the Pricing Director in bid and pricing functions.
o Mine all available competitive intelligence, market research data and existing analytical tools to support the Business Development group in their mission to create, deploy and identify effective sales strategies and opportunities.
o Work closely with the Category Manager and Marketing teams to support recommendations and execution of sales and margin initiatives.
o Work with Finance and R&D to analyze and maximize profitable opportunities that increase sales or strategic initiatives.
o Engage and support the Sales group to ensure successful execution of opportunities.
o Follow up with the Sales team to support initiatives and overcome customer rejections.
o Constructive engagement of internal teams towards problem solving that results in successful selling.
o Executional score-carding of BD opportunities and strategies to ensure we, and those we engage, are delivering on CPC objectives.
o Develop a solid understanding of cause and effect of all decisions in regards to both volume and profitability.
o Maintenance of the Pitch & Ship report.
o Participant and supporter of the BD Group on internal teams as directed.
Experience
o Must have a Bachelor's degree.
o Food & Beverage experience preferred.
o 3-5 years' experience.
o Must have strong competency in spreadsheet development, maintenance and basic sales/marketing and go to market principles.
o 30% to 40% travel may be required to call customers and attend industry events.
2Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
