The Facilities Operations Manager responsibilities for the corporate office in Philadelphia PA and the Ewing Innovation Center in Ewing NJ. Oversee total staff of 1 and annual facility budget of $15M. Manage savings initiatives in support of the Global Travel Program budget of $25M assuring projected savings are achieved.
Direct all real estate related issues associated with the Ewing and Philadelphia sites. Develop, implement and maintain strategic operational initiatives for FMC Global Travel, Fleet, and Global Record Retention services as well as other office-related categories.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Management Ewing & Philadelphia Direct delivery of facility-related services to businesses and shared services employees in the Ewing Innovation Center and the Philadelphia offices, including facility maintenance, security, safety and support services. Also acting as a supporting member of the crisis management team.
Real Estate Management Ewing & Philadelphia Direct all real estate related activities associated with the Ewing Innovation Center and the Philadelphia office building. Manage optimization of space and asset utilization as well as any sublease activities
Travel Program Management Strategic development of travel program. Manage and supervise relationship with corporate travel agencies and administer corporate travel policy. Develop, control, analyze and report corporate travel spend and savings. Benchmark travel operations and evaluate and apply new technology applicable to travel management. Develop strategic meetings management programs and administer travel risk management programs.
Fleet Management oversight of FMCs transportation fleet, including but not limited to vehicle financing, vehicle maintenance, vehicle telematics (tracking and diagnostics), driver management, speed management, fuel management and health and safety management.
Global Record Retention - Provide a company-wide coordinating role in maintaining the Corporate Record Retention Policy. Maintain a company-wide list of all Record Administrators and assure the provision of training as necessary to all Record Administrators. Oversee Long-term Storage and seek to assure that every company record is under the purview of a Record Administrator.
Global Lease Management Analyze, review, strategize & implement all FMC leases worldwide. Institute a set of standard processes and protocols to review, approve & monitor leases and come up with solutions to any issues that may exist.
Analytics Responsible for creating metrics & reports for analysis to ensure optimization of resources, containment of costs and consistent experience at each site to maximize impact to FMCs bottom line
Sustainability Must introduce sustainability initiatives not only support our core principles in this area but also have a positive budgetary impact to FMC
Required Education:
BS Degree preferred or Trade School Certification
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in a Facilities Management Capacity for a multi-site, global organization
Experience dealing with international facilities would be beneficial
Must understand financial concepts, budgeting and overall impact of Facilities function on FMCs bottom line
Experience with real estate transactions
Experience coordinating, analyzing and approving leases
Solid understanding of building codes, blueprint designs & general construction concepts
Ability to demonstrate culture of safety philosophy with strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and Business Emergency Management
Knowledge of Fleet Management, Travel & Records Retention
Ability to work with all levels of management
