Description: Our client is currently seeking a INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST II (CITRIX ENGINEER).
Perm with Salary in the 80-100K range. There is a bonus program based on Awards and Incentives but is not guaranteed in offer. They might consider 105k for perfect candidate. This job is to replace the current Citrix Engineer.
Position Summary
This position is for the technically challenging and rewarding position of Infrastructure Specialist II. The position will report to the Manager, Infrastructure in Corporate IT and be based at the Clients corporate headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. The primary responsibilities will include installation, configuration, administration, and advanced second and third-level support of the corporation's network infrastructure. Client's IT infrastructure includes over 150 remote locations, 450
Windows Servers, and approximately 2000 Windows desktop nodes on the wide-area network. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, administer, and support in the following service areas:
Enterprise LAN/WAN/VPN Networking equipment with Cisco experience preferred)
Effectively use network sniffers like WireShark/Ethereal to troubleshoot LAN/WAN problems
Enterprise Backup server software (HP DataProtector and Arcserve preferred)
Blade Server Hardware experience
SAN/NAS experience preferred (iSCSI/Fiber using Dell MD3200s/3600s, Netapp FAS3270)
Microsoft Windows Server suites 2003/2008/2008R2
System Center Configuration Manager/SMS and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
VMWare ESX hosts and VMs 4 and 5
Active Directory 2008/R2 and core infrastructure
services
(DNS,WINS,DHCP)
SharePoint 2007/2010 and SQL 2005/2008/2012
Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 servers
Blackberry Enterprise Server and advanced problems with Blackberry devices.
Cisco Wireless APs
Citrix XenApp Servers
Symantec Antivirus / Endpoint or other related enterprise AV utilities.
Windows Update Services (WUS/SUS)
Troubleshoot 2nd and 3rd level client OS and application problems
Support data center facility (power, cooling, generator, etc) and related equipment
Familiarity with SecureFTP Servers setup and configuration
SUSE/Linux experience a plus but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Any Networking related certifications CCNA/CCNP are preferred
Microsoft Certifications such as MCITP: Enterprise/Server/Virtualization Administrator on Windows 2008/R2 preferred.
Extensive experience installing, configuring, administering and supporting remote access infrastructure and client
components
Experience installing, configuring, administering and supporting advanced server, LAN/WAN, and network applications for a
large corporation
Experience developing written documentation including project plans, policy and procedure documents, presentations, user
and troubleshooting guides, and other documents as necessary
Focus on providing internal and external customers with the best service possible
Minimum Education and Experience
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in
computer
Science or related discipline preferred
Microsoft certification required, MCSE/MCITP certification is preferred
Cisco or Citrix certification preferred
Required
Experience:
Minimum of five years related IT experience supporting a Windows infrastructure requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
